Board of Directors
The Chamber’s Board of Directors is the policy-making
body within the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce. The board
is comprised of 24 individuals elected to 3 year terms by
the membership of the Chamber. Officers of the organization
are further chosen to serve 1 year terms. They must be a current
Board member and are elected by their fellow board members.
Richard Jean
Board Chair
Richard Jean owns Central Realty, a full service real estate and property management company in Nashua. Central Realty services the southern part of the state. While providing full service real estate Central Realty also manages over 300 rental units in the greater Nashua area which include residential, single family homes, condominiums, apartments and commercial storefronts. If it has to do with real estate we can help. Currently, Richard is serving as Chairman of the Chamber’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Richard’s past activity includes contributing to the Chamber for over 10 years on various committees and was an ambassador for several years.
Tim Hogan
Incoming Board Chair
Mr. Hogan is the General Manager at Southern New Hampshire’s premiere hotel, the Crowne Plaza in Nashua, NH. Tim has been involved with the Chamber of Commerce in the past and has recently returned as a board member. He also is very active in Rotary West of Nashua, a member since 1988. Tim has a long track record of community service being involved in a number of boards and committees for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua, the Salvation Army and the First Church of Nashua. Tim currently lives in Hudson with his wife, Sue, and their two sons, Brendon and Sean.
Thomas Boucher
Finance Committee Chair
Thomas Boucher is Vice President of Commercial Lending at TD Banknorth, N.A. He is currently a member of the Chelmsford Rotary Club where he has served as Vocational Service Director, Club Service Director, Vice President and President. He is a former member of the Monadnock Rotary Club. He has served as marketing advisor to the Jaffrey Economic Council, board member for the Southern New Hampshire American Heart Association, board member and Treasurer for the Greater Nashua Childcare Centers and as a volunteer teacher for Junior Achievement.
Alla Vatalaro
Program Committee Chair
Ms. Vatalaro owns and operates Narcissus II Hair Design where she has served the Nashua community for over 25 years. She is past Vice President of Destination Downtown (now Great American Downtown) and served as Chairperson of the Downtown Nashua Summer Music Festival for eight years. She is a past Chair of the Chamber’s Ambassador Committee and has served on many committees including Tri-City, Annual Dinner, Golf Classic and Small Business Expo. Alla is currently the Chair of the Program Committee, which is responsible for all of the programs the Chamber runs for the members. In January 2005, Alla was awarded Outstanding Chamber Volunteer for 2004 at the Chamber’s Annual Eminence Awards. She is also a member of Leadership Greater Nashua Class of 2003. She is a member of Nashua Rotary West and serves on their Board of Directors. She has served on committees for the Adult Learning Center and Home Health and Hospice.
John Patenaude
Strategic Planning Committee Chair/Past Board Chair
John is the V. P Finance, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Nashua Corporation. In addition to the Chamber Board of Directors, John is also a Director of the Nashua and Souhegan Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross. John and his wife Suzanne reside in Hudson, New Hampshire.
Maryse Wirbal
Community Resources & Development Committee Chair
Maryse Wirbal is the CEO of the Nashua Pastoral Care Center, Inc. a human services non-profit that focuses on providing families and individuals housing services, basic necessities and life-altering programs promoting self-sufficiency for the past 10 years. Maryse currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Hunt Community; serves as a School Board member for Infant Jesus School, Nashua; is a Nashua Rotary Club member; a graduate of the 2005 Leadership NH Class; a member of the Continuum of Care Executive Committee; and is a member of United Way’s Community Needs Assessment Committee. Maryse is currently serving her second term on the Chamber Board of Directors and currently is Vice Chair of the Community Resources and Development Committee. Maryse is also a 1998 graduate of Leadership Greater Nashua program. Maryse and her husband currently reside in Merrimack with their son.
Jeff Rose
State & Local Advocacy Committee Chair
Jeff Rose is director of Government Relations for BAE Systems’ Electronics & Integrated Solutions (E&IS) Operating Group. In this role, Jeff supports the business goals through policy advocacy at the federal, state and local governments. He also supports the growth, management and strategic alignment of political resources for the company.
Jeff is an active member of the community serving on the board of the Nashua Chamber of Commerce and chairman of its Advocacy Committee. He is currently the chairman of the board at the Greater Nashua and Souhegan Valley Chapter of the Red Cross. Jeff also serves on the board of the Saint Joseph’s Community Services, the New Hampshire State Society, and the N.H. Telecommunications Advisory Board.
Prior to joining BAE Systems in March 2004, Jeff spent nearly a decade working for various members of Congress. Most recently, Jeff worked as district director for Congressman Jeb Bradley (N.H. – District 1). He also worked for U.S. Senator Robert C. Smith (N.H.), then-Congressman John E. Sununu (N.H. – District 1), and Congressman Bob Franks (N.J. – District 7).
Jeff graduated from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., where he received degrees in Political Science and Communications/Journalism.
Jeff lives in Goffstown, New Hampshire, with his wife, Amy, and their daughter.
Melissa Sears
Membership Committee Chair
Melissa Sears is the Director of Marketing and Communications for St. Joseph Healthcare. Melissa is responsible for community relations, marketing and communications, as well as community health education efforts for St. Joseph Healthcare. St. Joseph Healthcare is a comprehensive healthcare system in southern New Hampshire and includes St. Joseph Hospital and its affiliates, including, the SurgiCenter, Granite State Mediquip, Milford Medical Center, Rockingham Regional Ambulance and Souhegan Home & Hospice Care. Prior to joining St. Joseph Healthcare, Ms. Sears has held management positions at Revlon Consumer Products Corporation in New York City, CCBN in Boston, Mass., and Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, N.H. Ms. Sears is currently an MBA candidate at Franklin Pierce University.
Deepak Gursahaney
Secretary
Originally from Columbus Ohio, Deepak Gursahaney has been part of the Nashua Business Community for the past 16 years. As owner and president of ActiveEdge, he heads a talented team of creative, technical and marketing professionals to offer Interactive Marketing Services for both online and offline marketing initiatives.
Deepak is active in many organizations within the Nashua community, most notably the Rotary Club of Nashua and IUGO, the local young professionals organization, of which he is a founding member. He and ActiveEdge have provided support for the Chamber through the development of the Chamber's website, design and implementation of email blasts, and sponsorship of different events and initiatives, such as nTEK, a Summit focused on attracting and retaining high tech companies within the Nashua region.
Michael T. Buckley
Michael and his wife Sarah are the founders of Michael Timothy’s Dining Group which oversees the operations of Michael Timothy’s Urban Bistro-Wine and Jazz Bar, Surf Seafood Restaurant and Buckley’s Great Steaks all located in the greater Nashua area.
Michael works in the daily capacity of chef-owner of the three restaurants.
Michael contributes to numerous charity events each year and is a member of The New Hampshire Restaurant and Lodging Association. He resides in Hollis with Sarah and their three children.
Sanders Burstein, MD
Sanders Burstein is Medical Director for Dartmouth-Hitchcock Nashua, a multi-specialty medical group practice associated with Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, with locations in Nashua, Hudson, Milford, and Merrimack. He has lived in the Nashua area since 1984, having provided medical care at Milford Family Practice from 1984 to 2003, prior to his current role in Nashua. He currently serves on the Board of the Area Agency of Greater Nashua, the Board of the New Hampshire Endowment for Health, the Greater Nashua Regional Health Advisory Group, the Greater Nashua Healthy Community Collaborative, and the Crotched Mountain Ski Patrol. In his spare time, he enjoys singing with the award winning Granite Statesmen Barbershop Chorus. Dr. Burstein completed Leadership Greater Nashua in 2005 and Leadership NH in 2007. He lives with his wife and 4 children in Amherst, NH.
Jeaneen M. Coolbroth
Jeaneen M. Coolbroth is Southern Division Manager – Public Service of New Hampshire. The Division has offices in Nashua, Hooksett, Bedford, Milford and Derry. Jeaneen began her career at PSNH in 1977 as a Staff Assistant.
She has held various positions during her 31 years with the Company including Supervisor of Vegetation Management, Supervisor – New Service, Engineering Liaison to the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission, Marketing Services Manager – Western Division, Sr. Engineer – Distribution Engineering, and most recently, Operations Manager – Western Central Division. Jeaneen also had previously worked at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, CA and Public Service Gas and Electric, NJ. Jeaneen is a graduate of New Jersey Institute of Technology with a Bachelors of Science in Industrial Engineering. She is also a former graduate of Leadership Greater Nashua and Northeast Utilities Leadership Academy. Jeaneen currently resides with her family in Meredith, NH.
Newton Coreyll
Mr. Coryell joined the Chamber Board of Directors in the Spring of 2002 after serving as a long time volunteer. An employee of Law Motor Freight, Inc. for 40 years, the last 38 as the company’s fleet manager Coryell has served on a number of Chamber committees and been active in many initiatives. In the spring of 2004, Mr. Coryell received the 2003 Eminence Award as the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce’s Outstanding Volunteer of the Year. Currently serving on the Ambassador’s Committee, and the program committee. Newt is responsible for mentoring new members to these Chamber committees. He is a charter member of the Merrimack Sno-Buds Snowmobile Club and has recently served as the organization’s Treasurer. He is currently serving as the fund raising chairman. Over the past 25 years he has piloted the club to raise over $250,000 for Camp Easterseals. Locally, he has been appointed to Chairman of the subcommittee for Horse Hill Nature Preserve under the Merrimack Conservation Commission.
Diane Currier
Diane Currier, Site Manager at Oracle in the Real Estate and Facilities organization has worked for Oracle for 12 years. She manages building operations in the Nashua facilities and 6 buildings in the Greater Boston area.
Diane works actively partnering with local agencies in Nashua where Oracle is committed to the local community in which employees live and work through the Community Partnership and event programs which is an important theme at Oracle.
Beth Davis
Beth H. Davis, born New York, New York, October 31, 1954; admitted to bar, 1978, Pennsylvania; 1983, New Hampshire. Education: Bryn Mawr College (B.A. cum laude, 1975); Villanova University School of Law (J.D., 1978). Member: American, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Nashua Bar Associations. Ms. Davis has been with the firm of Hamblett & Kerrigan, P.A. in Nashua since January of 1988, where she has been a partner since January of 1990. Prior to her association with Hamblett & Kerrigan, P.A., she served as in-house counsel for a publicly traded corporation and as a closing attorney for two firms which handled residential closings. Ms. Davis concentrates her practice in matters of real estate law, commercial lending transactions and related commercial law.
Joe Foster
Mr. Foster is a director with the state-wide law firm of McLane Graf, Raulerson & Middleton, Professional Association and practices out of its Manchester office. Mr. Foster focuses his practice on Chapter 11 bankruptcy business reorganizations and commercial law. Mr. Foster represents lenders ranging from small financial institutions to nationally recognized banks and finance companies and assists financially troubled businesses and individuals in loan restructurings and workouts. Mr. Foster also works with business and individuals in all aspects of bankruptcy matters from prosecuting and defending litigation arising in bankruptcy court to counseling buyers of assets of businesses in bankruptcy. He has spoken before members of the New Hampshire Bar, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the business community on bankruptcy law and related issues. Mr. Foster has been listed in Best Lawyers in America for Bankruptcy and Creditors Rights and in Chambers USA.
For three years, Mr. Foster served as a State Representative from Nashua and, during that time, was named Chair of the Nashua Delegation. Currently, Mr. Foster is serving his third term as State Senator from District 13 which includes Nashua wards 3,4,6,7 & 8. He is the Majority Leader, is Chair of the Judiciary Committee, is Vice-Chair of the Education Committee and serves on the Capital Budget Committee.
Ardeth Griggs
Ardeth Griggs is the Senior Vice President/Central Team Regional Manager for Community Banking at Ocean Bank, which encompasses 12 along the I93 and 293 corridors. Ms. Griggs serves as the Treasurer of the Queen City Rotary in Manchester, NH, she is on the Board of Trustees for the Greater Manchester Family YMCA, and is on the board of the Heritage United Way (along with participating on the Community Investment Panel and New Opportunities Committee ). Way. Ms. Griggs resides in Goffstown with her husband Dan. She has two daughters: Ryan, who is a teacher in Chelmsford, MA and Brianna, who is a senior at the University of New Hampshire.
Gary Inamorati
Mr. Inamorati, a Nashua native, is Vice President of Commercial Lending at TD Banknorth, N.A. He is currently responsible for business development for new and existing clients in the Greater Nashua area and its surrounding communities. A graduate of University of New Hampshire, Mr. Inamorati is a former Board Member for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Greater Nashua and remains active in the Nashua community by participating in TDBanknorth’s “Teach Children to Save” program, which is administered in conjunction with local schools. He is also a former volunteer teacher in the Junior Achievement program. Gary resides in Nashua with his wife Andrea, and their two children.
Raymond Noel
Raymond R. Noel, RFC, CDFA, CFS, BCM, MBA is a licensed fee planner specializing in Retirement & Estate Planning and Investment Management services. Ray is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst and also affiliated with Northeast Planning Associates, Inc. which was founded in 1958. He served many years as a loaned executive for the United Way of Greater Nashua and served as Chairman of the Board of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Greater Nashua, Inc. Furthermore, he has served for more than 30 years in a fundraising and support role for Camp Doucet Association, Inc. helping to maintain property and facilities for use by youth organizations of the Greater Nashua area. Ray is a current member of the Board of Directors for the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce and served on the Program Committee, Annual Dinner Committee and the Small Business Expo Committee. He was the 2005 Annual Fund National Campaign Chair for Rivier College in Nashua.
Carol-Lynn Saliba
Carol-Lynn Saliba is Executive Vice President, Director of Retail Banking at Citizens Bank New Hampshire. In her position she is responsible for the branch network in New Hampshire and Vermont, including community business lending and consumer banking. Her team supports the branches in all aspects of sales, customer service and training. An active member of the community, Saliba is on the Board of the Nashua Chamber of Commerce. Saliba earned a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Maine, Orono. She resides in Bedford with her husband and daughter.
Philip Scontsas
Philip Scontsas is the third generation owner of Scontsas Fine Jewelry & Home Décor in Downtown Nashua, specializing in diamonds and precious gem jewelry as well as fine gifts and accessories for you and your home.
Born and raised in Nashua, he attended Nashua Schools and the University of New Hampshire. After college Philip attended the Gemological Institute of America becoming ONE of the first Graduate Gemologists in New Hampshire.
Scontsas continues his family tradition of commitment to Nashua’s Downtown. Active in many downtown initiatives, Philip efforts go back to the Downtown Development Corp. in the early 80’s. He then went on to help establish the grass roots group, Destination Downtown, credited with igniting downtown’s renaissance, and where he presided as President for many years.
Philip was also instrumental in the creation of Downtown’s most recent organization, Great American Downtown, where he now serves as Board Member. His work has included chairing the Winter Holiday Stroll, the Taste of Downtown Nashua for over 10 years, and Nashua’s 2000 Millennium Celebration. Recently, Philip was awarded the prestigious “Life Time Achievement Award” from GAD. He is also an active member of the Nashua Rotary Club since 1989. In his spare time, Philip and his wife Amalia enjoy traveling, gardening and spending time with their family and close friends.
Harry James Stabile
Serves as Vice President of Sales & Marketing at The Stabile Companies, one of Southern New Hampshire’s most prominent, family-owned builder/developers, as well as Chief Operating Officer of the Nashua Pride minor league baseball franchise. Prior to joining The Stabile Companies and the Nashua Pride, Stabile served in a wide array of marketing capacities in the music industry.
He joined Musictoday as Senior Director of Business Development in 2001, where he cultivated an online music subscription platform for fans to access exclusive digital media such as music downloads, streaming videos, album listening parties, interviews and contests, as well as giving members first access to prime concert tickets and merchandise. Stabile spearheaded the rollout of this online program for artists such as Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, Marc Anthony, Shakira and Shania Twain. Prior to that, Stabile was Director of Artist & Label Relations for eMusic.com & RollingStone.com. Long before Apple’s iPod and iTunes, eMusic pioneered the legal digital licensing and distribution of digital music in MP3 format. With eMusic’s cutting edge technology combined with Rolling Stone’s editorial content, Stabile quarterbacked exclusive digital releases from notable artists such as Phish, Bush, Elvis Costello, They Might Be Giants, John Hiatt and others. From 1997 to 1999, Stabile developed his marketing chops at record companies within Sony Music Entertainment and Universal Music Group. Stabile earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Rivier College in 2006 and is a graduate of Villanova University. Stabile currently serves as chairman of IUGO, Greater Nashua’s Young Professionals Organization. He sits on the Board of Directors at Nashua’s chapter of Big Brothers & Big Sisters and is also a member of the Greater Manchester/Nashua Board of Realtors. Stabile lives with his wife Allison and two daughters in Bedford, NH.
Scott Westover
Scott Westover is the vice president for planning and administration at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua, NH. Scott is also a competitive aerobatic pilot and aviation enthusiast. With more than 15 years of professional communication experience, Scott has worked in broadcasting, higher education, government and health care. He earned an MBA in Leadership from Franklin Pierce College and lives with his wife, Lindsay, in Hopkinton, NH.
Terrence Williams
Terrence Williams is president and publisher of Telegraph Publishing Co. in Hudson. He currently serves on the board of directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Nashua and is president of the board of directors for the Great American Downtown of Nashua. He is former president and board member of the Adult Learning Center and Nashua Pastoral Care Center and a former member of the boards of directors for the Greater Nashua United Way and The Salvation Army. Williams is on the board of governors for the New England Newspaper Association and a member of the advisory board for Stars & Stripes newspaper in Washington, DC. He is also on the board of directors for the New England First Amendment Coalition.
